Open Mind, 2008 I am quite fond of the sculptural work of Cuban artist Yoan Capote. His work explores symbolic themes of humanity, “studying their interface, representation and physical or sensorial possibilities.” There is a strong implication present in all his pieces which make his works conceptual despite their often literal appearance.
Dutch photographer Desiree Dolron’s acute vision meshes traditional documentary photography and computer enhancement, by mixing these two methods, Desiree achieves her powdery, glowing effect – allowing her pictures to look almost like paintings.
