Swedish installation photographer, Helga Steppan assessed all of her belongings to create this series, entitled “See Through”, where she separates everything she owns into color groups, to then build a still life out of each color. Color, still life’s and organized chaos are three things that never fail to secure my attention, so when i saw an image form this series it immediately led me to dig a bit and find out about  the artist.

While doing the beautiful Rosie post, I discovered high-end fashion photographer James Meakin – UK based, Meakin’s portfolio is full of colors and amazing styling. He shoots for Vogue Portugal, Exit, and Flair amongst others. Apparently he likes to shoot in deserts/rocky environments, there is not a lot of information about him, but his pictures speak on their own! see more of his work here: www.james-meakin.com
