T by Alexander Wang 2012 Resort Collection

Resort collections are pretty hard to describe, other than they usually contain easy-to-pack, easy-to-wear pieces. The much-loved T by Alexander Wang line takes this to the next level in its 2012 Resort Collection, with basics that just can’t go wrong. Monochromatic and color-blocking styles are the building blocks of each outfit, with neutrals ranging from heather grey to olive drab. The highlight of the collection, though, was the eye-catching blue and yellow neons, which were probably the most striking change of the normally black, grey, and white line. Like it’s older sibling, the main Alexander Wang label, this collection also carried a sporty, surfer-chic vibe, as conveyed by sheer and breezy fabrics, luxe-meets-lounge hooded ponchos, and a generally loose silhouette. Definitely delivering some fun, yet comfy, updates to your usual basics, Alexander once again makes looking good plain and simple.
