Milan based Studiopepe’s latest design for iconic bathroom designer Agape strikes us as nothing less than superb. Trendland has long since been a fan of the Italian studio, admiring their consistent ability to create beautiful things of the utmost quality. Agape Design, who believes the bathroom is a centerpiece of the home has a 40 year history of puristic minimal design and has partnered successfully with Studiopepe for their latest project.
Studiopepe’s conceptual and iconographic approach was not spared for Agape. Masculine, sturdy, fully functional – no wasted space or efficiency here. We particularly enjoy the tall free standing faucet.
For this project, Studiopepe wanted to provide a nordic twist with a strong Italian influence as well. Black and white were used, of course, while hints of pale pink and turquoise add depth and character. “We also used Mangiarotti collection by AgapeCasa that we love!” says Agape.
Through many years of collaborating, Studiopepe has developed a plethora of styles. “It is very interesting to work with a brand and coin a sort of style research to interpret their products and a new way of experiencing the bathroom” says Studiopepe, “we believe the bathroom world is developing and people want products where the technical aspect is present but somehow hidden.”
