La Roux : In for the Kill
You may remember seeing a really cool video we posted back in May of musical duo La Roux, for their track “Bulletproof” (see here), and for today’s song I wanted to bring you another one of their ill tracks, “In for the Kill”. La Roux are a British electropop synth duo band made up of singer and synth player Elly Jackson, and co-writer and co-producer Ben Langmaid, with Jackson describing their respective roles as “very much a half and half sharing situation… not like a singer producer outfit”, but also recognizing that it often can “look like a solo act”. In an interview La Roux says she is influenced by a lot of 80′s music including David Bowie, early Madonna and Yazoo, but there are a lot of contemporary, mostly European, influencers in her world, who include Justice and other Ed Banger labels.
I am really feeling this La Roux’s edgy vibe and their music makes me want to PARTY!!!!
La Roux is offering you the chance to engage artistically with them by giving you access to their music and allowing you to remix it with complete artistic freedom. Whether you are a singer, producer, dj, musician or all the above, make this track yours. All music must be 100% original content. All you have to do is enter your email address and you will receive all the stems for “Bulletproof” the single off the album “La Roux”.

Are you serious? I'm usually a fan of the stuff you put up here, but just cause she's a friend of Trendland doesn't mean you have to be completely uncritical about this commercial. The objectification of the woman, and also the patronizing of the men, is so sad to me.. it's like a commercial from the 50's?? For Samsung to promote a Smart TV with such a medieval view on gender roles.. I guess the only smart thing about this really is the TV..8
A great work i loved the post.9
Hey there! I just tried out the new Kokorico, by Jean Paul Gautier and also made a review for it, here in Brazil. I really loved the Patchouli like scent.10
