The lifetime of cash is much debated these days as the future points toward credit cards and new digital currencies which continue to pop-up, but at least the creative people behind Snøhetta Agency are making sure Norwegian physical money looks sharply updated.
The Central Bank of Norway announced two winner proposals for the banknotes design, and by that Snøhetta’s design will be seen on the backside while the front will show work by The Metric System graphic design studio. Each note has its own dominating colour hue. Cash will remain king.
