His last book was published in 1998 and chances to have another one are slim. Serge Lutens was a talented fashion photographer and later became a fragrances genius.

Lutens’s was, in fashion circles, considered a visionary. An 80s version of a modern day ’slasher’ -

His work include many Vogue magazine, Richard Avedon and Irving Penn productions. In the late 60s he made Christian Dior cosmetics famous before boosting Shiseido as a legendary label through his powerful creations that have the strongest visual impact.

We can see clearly that Serge Lutens has an influence of geisha traditions in his work as a make-up artist.

These are a few examples of his work, found in the pages of L’esprit Serge Lutens, a book dedicated to his time spent with Shiseido.
Serge Lutens is is a French photographer, filmmaker, hair stylist, perfume art-director and fashion designer – one of the most creative in the Industry – his vision is beautiful and conceptual, and his women look like pieces of art. Luten’s most well-known for his art direction and photography for Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido in the 1980s.

I like the new S/S 2012 collection. Appreciating this collection gives me a feeling as if going into a wild worl. The long flowing pastel skirts are very attracitive.2
I love the earrings!3
