In this process she makes the technology co-creator of her work. “
The dress includes valves that are controlled to pump ink slowly when the piece is worn, creating interesting patterns and a one-of-a-kind outfit for every wearer.
The Pseudomorphs neckpiece is controlled through a pressure and control system with pneumatic control valves that allow the ink to be pumped through the tubes and into the design. The electronics are powered by a single 9 Volt battery.
Tech-Couture is getting more and more popular, after the “Instant Spray Clothing“, here is the Self-Painting Dress by Dutch haute-tech designer Anouk Wipprecht, developed by Pseudomorphs. The tech-dress is controlled by pumps ink which are slowly transforming the ink into display to create illusions around the body.
