23-year-old Swedish songstress Seinabo Sey is slowly but surely securing her spot with some of today’s most powerful female vocalists. Her first release was an unfathomably catchy and soulful anthem entitled “Younger” and now she hits the mark again with “Hard Times” which is produced by one of Sweden’s current top guns Magnus Lidehäll—also responsible for Mapei’s “Don’t Wait”. Although the quality production comes in handy when trying to make a splash in the ever so vast pool of new music, it is the depth and quality of songwriting as well as a voice that yearns to be heard that makes or breaks and artist and Sey brings both of these elements without question.
