In 2010, photographer Scarlett Hooft Graafland decided to stop by the bolivian salt flats and take some breathtaking pictures. Her abstract photographs, project a juxtaposition of raw nature and industrial structures. Right where the bright soil meets the horizon, Graafland captured salt-transferring trucks, chairs and circular mirrors, giving classic travel photography a surreal and very interesting upgrade.
