The verdict on SBTRKT and Little Dragon‘s sizzling “Wildfire” team up: Ten dancing thumbs up.

When that shy tribal beat comes in, you still have no idea that a hot synthy bass is on its way to come sweep you off your feet. That sexy, dub synth should be a sin–a booty-movin’ sin. The rolling drum line makes an energetic introduction to a funky electro-siren solo; and what a perfect accompaniment to Dragon’s flirtatiously alluring vocals and sultry delivery style. This track’s on fire. I just wish I could fast-forward to SBTRKT’s  self-titled album dropping on Young Turks, June 24th. For now, happy listening, Trendlandians!
