I’m offended by what’s she’s done as a creative person. It’s a slap to the face of any creative who spends their days wracking their brain for an amazing idea! To undermine and disrespect that process! How can she do that and consider herself to be a creative?

This whole thread emails me everytime someone comments on it, because after I commented I checked a box to be notified so I could read new comments on the issue, you know back in FEBRUARY!!! It is now June and obviously you have no idea just how lame you sound telling everone to lay off Rosie and how they are obsessed with her. We all quit talking about her um 4 months ago. When everyone did put their comments in about her it is when the whole acandle happened. So who is obsessed with her? It would seem to be you. Ha.

It is very apparent that since February Rosie’s pictures have really lacked in “awesome”! Rather then posting practically daily mwith some new idea (that she stole) she has had to rely on her own creativity which is quite lackluster when she isn’t ripping people off. I don’t doubt that she is stealing ideas from other places now for everything she does that is semi decent.

Her editting skills aren’t even that great. If you look at her images large they are very sloppy.

I understand you are a young child like Rosie, you love her love story with her boyfriend which more then likely isn’t going to work out forever. I hate to be cynical but I have lived life. Nothing is ever that perfect, nor does it stay awesome forever. I guarantee after she moves to the US that she will move back to the UK within 3 years. Being in a long distance relationships (trans-Atlantic even) is hard enough, but it’s still new everytime they talk and see each other. It’s going to be a rude awakening actually living together.

Anyway, I think once you little twilight loving teenagers who love Rosie grow up you will realize there is nohing special about Rosie or Rosie’s relationship that you can’t posess yourself. You can steal ideas everyday so everyone thinks you are a creative genius, even blatantly steal actual parts of peoples pictures and paste them into yours (the handprint) and then be a child who is under age in the states and find a creepy boyfriend who doesn’t mind being well into his 20′s and being with, traveling to see, and sleeping with a child still in high school. If you find all of that charming and like a fairytale who am I to stand in your way. I Personally find it all creepy.

Also, quit with the “she’s just a kid who made a mistake!” No she must be a grown woman if she has a boyfriend of 25. If she’s a kid then Aaron Nace is what we call in the states a pedophile.

And for those ignorant enough to comment and not even know the TRUE facts..

She is real, i have met her. Her and Aarons story is true; don’t you think that being in the media would have probably revealed their story to be fake by now? And where the heck does it actually say that their relationship isn’t true? Some weirdo has just made that up to cause more hype over her.

“Did you really believe that a 17 year old girl who studies and works (with no previous experience in Photography) would have the time to take photos everyday and do all the post-processing alone ?” – This really made me laugh because Yes.. i do believe that a 17 year old girl under that pressure can do it. Are you blind? The evidence is right in front of you in her photostream.

She takes her own photographs with self timer or a control and tripod. Only on odd occasions do someone else take them and she generally mentions that in her description anyway.

And so what, she made a mistake! Who hasn’t? If you are an artist, you cant say that your work wasn’t inspired by nothing. Something must have given you the idea. She didn’t credit her inspiration.. wowwww big deal! Who actually cares? OH! Thats right! The complete utter losers who spend their friday nights stalking Rosie’s favorites and comparing them to her creations are the only ones who care.

If you think about it, she still put as much effort in. And no matter what piece of work she has made there may always be a similar one due to the fact there are millions of artists now days.

Yes my opinion is probably very biased because I know her. I know what a lovely, polite young woman she is. I also know that she will be so much more in the future.. and there is nothing that your pointless jealous accusations can do about it

Apparently the “Harry” person was actually in fact Rosie herself – trying to get more attention. What a load of rubbish. As if she would give herself a bad name and attract haters to get more views. Unless you are completely retarded, it is so obvious that “Harry” claimed that “he” was Rosie as a further plot to bring her down more and make her look worse.

I read a comment on the Tony Eckersley site and it pretty much sums up everything I think:
“If you were to put all of these together next to all of her work, it would seem less and less like plagiarism. If you were then to take all of her work at all of the work from all of the female self-portraitists on flickr, especially those near her age and members of the FSPASG, it would seem more and more trite.

She’s just a kid, trying to figure out her style, and she’s got a lot of overly processed, cliche work out there. Outside of her self-portraiture, she has some very interesting ideas. I hope that she continues to grow, but I think everyone on the internet needs to get a damn life.

Sure she made her life public, but she didn’t ask you to view it. Those of you that have never made a mistake in life are the only ones who can throw abuse at Rosie.
