“Roman Objects” Collection by Jean-Claude LeBlanc

Canadian product designer Jean-Claude LeBlanc introduce us ‘Roman Objects’ which highlight the ability of marble to lend itself to forms ranging from simple and elegant to strikingly transgressive.

Created using the tenets of basic geometry, all items from this collection stand individually or work together as a group. The results are refined, minimal, and luxurious. For the studded pieces, brass spikes are individually drilled and bonded into the stone. Typically seen on clothing worn in underground subcultures, spikes have long signified the ability to assert one’s own individuality into traditionally made goods, which we hope to evoke with this collection.
