Roman & Williams Restaurant/Shop Concept: Guild [New York]

The husband/wife design team Roman & Williams recently opened Guild, a concept restaurant/cafe/flower shop and bookstore bringing a new dose of glamour to SoHo, New York. Located at 53 Howard St. on a 7000 square-foot two-story of a former luxury department store called Arnold (Constable & Company).

The restaurant is the French café La Mercerie, a partnership between Stephen Starr Restaurant Group and Roman and Williams. Chef Marie-Aude Rose, the former chef at Spring in Paris, is serving a full complement of French comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The couple’s retail/showroom concept is also introducing their 50-piece Founding Collection of furniture, lighting, and accessories.
