Renovated Melbourne Home by Nixon Tulloch Fortey Architecture

The traditional brick facade on this Melbourne house is a deceptive yet inviting feature to this super cool period house renovated by agency Nixon Tulloch Fortey Architecture. The firm renovated the existing space, then created an open-floor extension to juxtapose the dark, rich environment of the original.  Bright flashes of color liven up the space, which features a personal design trick of mine, organizing the books by color. Try it!

Thanks to Desire to Inspire for the tip!
