This September, Reed Krakoff celebrated in New York the imminent entrance of a non-autumnal season. This is why he borrowed autumn’s color palette and presented it lighter, painted flowing fabrics with its quite vibrance and finished them off with contrasting black leather details. It’s a spring collection that came in with tact and elegance. At least that’s what the slightly shaped (but nonetheless perfectly tailored) silhouettes, the knee-and-under hemlines and see-through fragile layers indicate. Just like patiently observing the arrival of a blossoming season right behind a transparent curtain.
