“Photography is for me a search for harmonious shape and composition. What keeps me going is the fact that a creative career is a never-ending evolution in the search for a perfection that does not exist. I love the fact that there is always something you can become better at in the process.”
There’s something really attractive and yummy about Rasmus Mogensen’s lips series. He wanted to become a photographer since he was 8 and had his first independent photo exhibition at the age of 17. Born in Copenhagen, based in Paris, and now partly New York, he has been working professionally as a fashion and beauty photographer for the past 15 years. Nowadays, he’s shot for German, Australian and Russian Vogue, French Elle and Marie Claire, Australian Harper’s Bazaar, The Sunday Times Magazine, Jalouse, L’Officiel and Wallpaper, among others.
