What could be more inspiring then young, fresh talent to kick off Fashion month? The Young Designers Project, a new collective of fashion creatives, is dedicated to promoting tomorrow’s brightest by stressing their presence in digital media. For their launch, YDP took on the Fall 2013 season, digitally presenting the theme “Internet as Democracy,” showcasing the collections of two young designers, and setting the bar high. Aina Beck’s collection is our pick, a Parsons MFA Fashion Design and Society graduate. Check out her purist, feminine aesthetic in this capsule collection, featuring exaggerate volumes, fabrications in denim with developed prints and metallic foiling. Also equally striking here is the lens of Conan Thai, who photographed Part 1 of the launch.
