Dutch furniture designer Piet Hein Eek makes beautiful handmade furniture using scraps of wood and metal. His highly meticulous, handmade process makes it impossible to reproduce his work in large quantities. Despite the limited production of his work, Piet Hein’s work has recently become available in the US, by special order through the site and through Arkitektura In-Situ, The only brick and mortar shop, located in San Fransico.
