Piers Atkinson’s latest collection “Paris” consists of a 33-strong extraordinary headpieces. He drew inspiration from the Parisian noir side with its dark cafes and extravagant showgirls and that came across in the unconventional grunge and glamor collection.
Piers Atkinson is a British artist, milliner, illustrator, costume designer, fashion editor, party organiser, project manager. One of his great influences is his mother, the theatrical milliner Hilary Elliott and Stephen Jones. He assisted Zandra Rhodes, collaborated with Ashish and Noki for the runway presentations and had his pieces in the V&A’s “Hats: an Anthology by Stephen Jones”.
