Pedro García A/W 2012/2013 Catalogue

Pedro García was founded in 1925 as a Children’s shoe workshop in Elba, Alicante. Three years later they branched out to become a men’s footwear factory. In their third generation of a family devoted to footwear, Pedro García has now successfully expanded out to all world markets.

The catalogue was shot in Sargaledos, a historic contemporary porcelain factory located in the province of Lugo. The combination of wood, ceramic and rock seen throughout the factory juxtaposes the collection’s use of soft pliable leather and Merino Shearling. Reminiscent of Nordic design traditions, clean crafted silhouettes seem emerged in the nostalgia of Netherlands greenery and Celtic forests around the factory. Photographer Daniel Riera did a remarkable job capturing the Celtic culture and unbridled nature of the collection.
