Paperlux Deformable Cover For Novum Magazine

German Design studio Paperlux created this beautiful design and a unique deformable cover for Novum magazine. An awesome elaborate print job that you can discover on the making-of video showing the production process for this November Novum cover.

“Paperlux created the design in tandem with Print Arena, Jürgen Jeurink—die cuts, and EMAG GmbH paper finishing—lamination. The final covers were finished in six different color schemes after 48,000 print passes with 140 punch cuts per issue. The resulting cover, inspired by the ideas and concepts of Richard Buckminster Fuller, is pliable along its cuts within the grid of the geometric design, inviting play and interaction.”
