Paintings by Kirra Jamison

Kirra Jamison is a young Australian talent who I have noticed a bit in recent months. She utilizes a number of expressive techniques to create her compositions. From paper cutouts to gouache painting, lines, forms and patterns play with the picture plane for some really curious work! Check out painted pieces from her last two shows, “Locomotor” and “Still point”. Showing both series (the latter is on view now) in Australia over the last year, she is already a shining success in her home country; keep an eye out on this one!

“Still Point” on view through April 20, 2013
