By now you know we are fans of collages and mixed media artwork and when we find artists that fit our aesthetic like Argentinian Ariel Chiesa, we feel obliged to showcase the work even if there is no information about her.
Freelance illustrator from Germany, Tilman Faelker introduced us to his mixed media collages – Drawing free hand before digitizing, his style is a mix of retro and futuristic geometry with a touch of 8 bit video games. A pretty unique style that I am sure you will enjoy as much as me!
Colombian graphic designer Sebastian Ospina introduced us to his awesome mixed media collages that are characterized by female faces, used in most of his artwork which are intervened by photo collages and strokes of paint. Love it!
Thanks to our Mexican reader Alejandra Higareda Patrón to tip us onto the collage work of Prince Lauder aka Carlos Guerrero, a very talented Mexican illustrator who uses mixed media to create beautiful drawings inspired mainly by fashion.
Peruvian graphic designer, Raul Ronald Moreno Cardenas used old Burda magazines (1966) to create these original collages and video. To achieve a more timeless result he mixed the pages with other magazine, classic wallpapers and textures. Watch the video below.
What a great experimental graphic design project! Marek Haiduk created RVLVR, a concept consisting of different artists from all over the world using at least one of the same given picture material to create new artworks, totally free in their concept, topic or technique. Very interesting to see the difference and similitude in their design.
Here is another talented Portuguese this week, the Lisbon based Margarida Girão has some nice creative mixed media collages in her portfolio. If you like these kind of collages, than you should love her work.

How lovely are Belinda Chen illustrations, the Berlin based illustrator and visual designer has some great fashion drawings and mixed media collages. Sometimes simple and sometimes more complex, she seems to have developed more than one signature style.
