Orient-Express : A Journey Like No Other

What do you think of when you hear Orient-Express? To many of you who have heard of it, you most likely associate the name with an old train, as I did. But after a pleasant breakfast at Club 21 a few days ago with some of the Orient-Express team I found out that Orient-Express is a whole lot more than a luxury train. The company owns 50 luxury hotels, restaurants, tourist trains and river barges in 24 countries. We are talking elite adventure status!

You can watch the videos below to see where they went. I really like the vibe of these videos, they made me think of Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited. The series feels very authentic.

To paint a picture of the Orient-Express (travel) culture, the company appointed boutique creative agency Chandelier Creative. For the campaign Chandelier Creative fabricated a jet set family who would travel from the sparkling canals of Venice to the “Lost City” of Machu Picchu, in a series of films titled “A Journey Like No Other”.
