One Hot Yoga

One Hot Yoga Studio [Melbourne]

One Hot Yoga

Though yoga was at one point in history often practiced in caves, we applaud Robert Mills’ design of One Hot Yoga studio for bringing the meaning of ‘sanctuary’ to life.

Located in Melbourne, Australia, this place is without a doubt, the most idyllic yoga studio we have ever laid eyes on. The 1960’s brick factory turned meditation haven employs the best minimalism has to offer.  An energy-efficient fresh-air system, pale recycled wood, concrete floors (with radiant heating), and a soothing white palette, help the space and your mind remain serene and uncluttered. From the bathroom sinks to their own label of body products, every facet of the One Hot Yoga studio is well designed. If this doesn’t make you want to meditate, then nothing short of a vacation on a deserted island with the Buddha himself will. Here’s to hoping a One Hot Yoga locale opens up in NYC…
