Garde Robe (see our September review) is the name of the new menswear line from Frenchies Olivier Borde & Heath Callender, winners of the annual Hyeres fashion competition – The Olivier Borde [Garde-Robe] S/S 2009 Collection was unveiled during Paris Men’s Fashion Week in June 2008. Their inspiration come from the “working class” in the 1920s and the book of Mike Disfarmer and Richard Avedon’s “The American West project” – A great Collection who will fit the most Trendy hipster pretty soon…

The first Olivier Borde [Garde-Robe] A/W 2008 collection was unveiled at the International Festival d’Hyeres in April 2008. The collection was selected and judged in the Festival by jurors who included Ricardo Tisci, Maria Luisa, Haider Ackermann and Patti Wilson. The collection was said to be “reinventing the classics of male fashion” in an “artistic and poetic tradition”.

Are you serious? I'm usually a fan of the stuff you put up here, but just cause she's a friend of Trendland doesn't mean you have to be completely uncritical about this commercial. The objectification of the woman, and also the patronizing of the men, is so sad to me.. it's like a commercial from the 50's?? For Samsung to promote a Smart TV with such a medieval view on gender roles.. I guess the only smart thing about this really is the TV..8
A great work i loved the post.9
Hey there! I just tried out the new Kokorico, by Jean Paul Gautier and also made a review for it, here in Brazil. I really loved the Patchouli like scent.10
