Sigrid Calon nr Risoprint op Munken Pure papier oplage € per

We first spotted Sigrid Calon’s prints hanging on the wall in an industrial garage at Ventura Lamrate, where the artist debuted a textile “wall object” rendering her signature tessellations. Inspired by the magic of the modular form, she geeked out over embroidery grids and realized that she could make infinite permutations of colored “stitches,” just by shifting the angle and direction of each individual movement. The results fill the pages of her book, To the extend of / | & – (120 compositions in form & color, stencil printed on RISO) available on www.sigridcalon.nl.
