WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

Danish crafts is a national information centre that aims to highlight danish crafts in denmark and abroad. at the ICFF this year they presented ‘hands on‘ a new collection craft products by various designers all grouped under the themes of ‘high artistic quality and outstanding craftsmanship with a focus on ethics’.
Two of the designs featured at the booth were: ‘light plumbing’ by claus bjerre – a series of masculine candleholders. with ‘light plumbing’ bjerre has taken what is normally a very feminine object and turned it masculine. the candle holders are made in galvanised iron pipe and fittings commonly used in plumbing.
