Karlie Kloss elegantly dies in Nick Knight and Edward Enninful’s couture editorial for W Magazine. Marking Knight’s’ investigation into fashion illustration, the pair offer up an exploration of contrasts with imagery both delicate and violent, as we are invited to their vision of Parisian opulence meets Grimm’s fairy tale. Kloss wears pieces from the collections of Dior, Givenchy, Chanel, Iris Van Herpen, and more.

I love W’s editorials. They’re always so art-oriented, which I appreciate so much.

An excellent example of photo/illustration technique beatifully mastered. However, I feel more attracted to look at it as a piece of art rather than taking special interest in the clothing that is being showcased which, in my humble point of view, I think was (or should be) the objective in a Fashion Editorial, unless this work was featured in the Art & Design section of the Magazine.
