New Spring 2013 Lanvin Video Campaign

What could stop Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz from participating in his Spring 2013 campaign video shoot?

Nothing. When a hurricane of historic proportions in New York and back-to-back fittings in Paris prohibited Elbaz from being physically present at his video shoot, he, in a cheeky turn of style, simply incorporates his oh-so-chic commentary into the video — via Skype! As he narrates the Steven Meisel photographed, Gordon Von Steiner filmed campaign, Elbaz illuminates the increasingly symbiotic relationship between high-fashion and the web. How refreshing to see the oldest fashion house in Paris up the ante, with this edgy, young, and humorous commentary on how modern media communicates this elusive concept we call, “style.” A++.
