Natasha Goldenberg’s autumn/winter collection gives power dressing a nonchalant twist.
Goldenberg, the Russian style icon known for her love of statement jewellery and playful hair pieces, is the mastermind behind the emerging ready-to-wear brand Tzippora. Her recent collection is a mirror to her own celebrated personal style; the eclectic fabrics, which range from camouflage and geometric prints to metallic silk, are perfectly balanced with classic shapes referencing to ’60s cuts. Tailored ankle trousers and pencil skirts are teamed with A-shaped tops, creating elegant yet airy outfits. The matching pajama-inspired two-piecesuits are an obvious highlight, in keeping with the growing trend for relaxed power-dressing. Whether or not it was intentional, the styling of the collection’s lookbook made us think of the romanticised Russia captured in Doctor Zhivago (1965).
