Its been over a year since we’ve sampled new sounds from Mr. Little Jeans, who’ve recently released a new single Oh Sailor.

If you’re not familiar with MLJ, they’re an LA based band fronted by Norwegian singer/songwriter Monica Birkenes, who released a small EP in 2011 which got international recognition for a cover of Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs. Their newest single Oh Sailor is a playful and innocent track featuring a beautiful backing from Silverlake Conservatory of Music Youth Chorale. Its definitely a pop-savy, radio ready piece – but I’m hoping it will soon lead to a promising full length album.
