Milan-based emerging industrial designer Maddalena Selvini has a penchant for texture and materials. Much of her work explores the intersection of these two concepts in various ways.
In her series titled, Morning Spikes, she asks the question – A cup should contain but why forget about the surface we are holding? The contrast with the warmth, the wool and the spikes gives an experience to the hands too.
