I just stumbled over this Swedish womenswear line called Monki, and I liked their little ‘Monki World’ a lot. The clothes look great and are really affordable (not sure if they ship to the US?). Monki is a store concept and a fashion brand, but more than that, it seems that they were able to create their own world for their customers. From video, to comics and styling tips, its a little more than your usual online store.
I was reading on the NYT, about how the online shoppers wanted more and more to have some styling tips, and that’s exactly what Monki does.By creating shopping collages and styled shoots, Monki shows their customers how to wear their brand!
And that’s maybe why they are successful in the Nordic countries…
