Miu Miu: It’s Getting Late

Over the last few months, Miu Miu has collaborated with a number of filmmakers to produce a series of short films in support of their Fall collection. The latest installment of their “Women’s Tales” series, the fourth is titled “It’s Getting Late”, and was shot by Iranian-American filmmaker Massy Tadjedin. Starring Aubrey Plaza, Gemma Arterton, Patricia Clarkson and Rinko Kikuchi, the camera follows each as they wind down their working days, prepare for their evening, and make their way to the ending scene featuring a captivating performance by rising songstress Zola Jesus. With the beautiful translucent dusk of LA as a backdrop, Miu Miu’s stellar glasses, shoes, handbags, and ready to wear are on full display here.

Treacherously long for a viral, but engaging and emotional. Most notably we are starting to see a lot more narrative in branded videos and less in your face marketing, which is a lot less invasive and easier to relate to.
