Missoni for Target : 25-Foot Style Blogger

Well if you have not yet felt like bloggers are being put on a major media pedestal than maybe Marina will change your mind. For the launch of the Missoni and Target’s Collaboration Mother New York created a 25-foot blogger they call Marina. The concept was to bring her around different NYFW events dressed in custom Missoni and have her “live” tweeting. A small idea executed in a grand way. I mean anyone who entered a room and saw Marina would react in some way.

When I first laid eyes on her my jaw dropped, I thought they had created robot! How brilliant, I thought! But after a deeper look I saw that she was more of a marionette then a robot. I fear the day that these concepts can be executed through robotics with actual ability to tweet and express emotion, but that will be so exciting!
