I really do not think all this about not caring what everyone thinks, but rather about Miley riding the all access roller coaster that everyone hating wishes they could jump aboard. Clearly there is a lot of hype around her, she is a superstar in the making and it is really rare to see the whole process the way we have seen with Miley.
