Michael Wolf : Architecture of Density

In Michael Wolf’s “Architecture of Density” series he documents the complex urban dynamics of Hong Kong, one the most densely populated metropolitan areas in the world. In his vibrantly colorful interpretation of the graphic architectural scapes he has created a beautiful swatch book of palettes. Palettes drawn directly from the highest density of civilization, a true indication that inspiration is all around us.

    I’m a hong kong residence and these are definitely not photoshoped.
    But just to let you know that these places are the oldest districts in the city, not that everywhere in hong kong is so terribly condensed.XDD

    Love the perspective that these photos give on city life. High rises are sort of like filing cabinets for people.
