Designers, editors, actresses, models, and other members of fashion’s aristocracy turned out last night for the annual ritual gathering known as the Met Ball, in celebration of the Costume Institute’s current exhibition, Punk: Chaos To Couture. I would say in general the night’s interpretations of punk were far too stale, and that many of dresses wore the girls (as opposed to the other way around), but there were a few winners, with special mention to Miley Cyrus who probably was the most punk of all.
