A while back we reviewed British photographer Matthew Donaldson’s awesome ‘President’ series, but we never fully reviewed his great portfolio. I really like Donaldson’s composition and concepts in his still life photographs. Donaldson’s magazine clients include English, French, American and Japanese Vogue, Wallpaper, W and GQ, and he has brought his pleasing visual geometry to ad campaigns for SONY, Harvey Nichols, Marc Jacobs, Coca-Cola, Harrods, Missoni, and Marks & Spencer, among others.
At present, he’s working on a film about hair, a long-term project he hopes to conclude by the end of 2011.
