As first demonstrated in her 2010 Central Saint Martin’s graduate collection, designer Martina Spetlova’s signature aesthetic combines a patchwork approach with bold block colors of textiles and leather.
The fashion film for her latest Spring/Summer ’13 collection elaborates on this sensibility with a cut and paste approach. A collection already heavy on visual styling, the designer’s refined finesse emerges in a fresh, bold color palette of crimson, bright emerald green and purple slate as pleated and patched leather textures are highlighted amongst a landscape of changing patterns.
