With fashion week over and trends ready to be set, it is already clear that printed outfits conquered the runway oh so politely with modest cuts and crisp collars in Marni’s Resort collection. Instead of bright colored or tropical prints, Marni opted for sky blues, lemonade yellows, and pink blush tones which went perfectly with the light weight fabrics. Mixed and matched patterns added a fun flair to the sleek shapes of knee length pencil skirts and oversized sleeves. Feminine silhouettes and belted high waisted garments were contrasted with structured brown coats, navy embroidered jackets and mustard pleated skirts, giving the clothing a more casual, western look. In addition to some masculine tailoring, color blocked details on cuffs, collars and pockets remained to be an important aspect in the designs, especially with the accessories. Chunky embellished necklaces, red portfolio purses, sheer knee length stockings paired with leather loafers or metallic sandals all tied together the collection by adding that touch of lady like class and avant-garde edge. With hints of her signature quirky-cool styles, the Marni 2013 Resort collection embodied all that is retro and ‘librarian chic’ while maintaining a high regard of today’s contemporary trends.

I like it. And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model. Now if steven photographed the same concept with average shmucks would we pay much attention to it? i dont think so. it'd be just another political journalistic photograph.3
