Marine Hugonnier’s Newspaper Colorblock

Marine Hugonnier‘s newspaper color-blocking covers were another great discovery from Art Basel. The French artist, who lives in London created most of her cutouts from Ellsworth Kelly’s book “Line Form Color” for “Art for Modern Architecture”, her ongoing project since 2004 in which she investigates the role of the image by pasting color-block collages on the newspaper front page images.
