I am definitely not against the idea of enlisting a pro skater to collaborate on your brand right now, especially if it is Braydon Szafranski. Looks like the former Emerica rider is aligning with French brand Kitsuné, or at least the preppy Parisian label has enlisted Szafranski along with model Chelsea Schuchman to channel West Coast vibes in their latest Andre Saraiva art directed campaign for Spring/Summer 2013, for which Oliver Peoples collaborated as well. The new brand ambassadors are depicted in a number of Cali post cards for the Brad Elterman-shot campaign. Szafranski spoke to ESPN last year about his footwear status, “Right now I’m wearing a pair of Converse, yesterday was a pair of Vans and the day before that was some Supras. [After departing Emerica] I actually get to wear everything I ever wanted to wear, all those shoes I’ve been staring at for years and thinking, ‘yeah, that’d be awesome to get a trick in.'”
