Luminarie De Cagna’s LED Cathedral

You can get pretty complacent when running an 80-plus-year-old family business. Or you can make like Luminarie De Cagna and stage a show no one will ever forget. The Italian family business, specializing in lighting and illumination, has been known to show its wares in amazing ways during public events.

Starting with oil and carbide lamps, Luminarie De Cagna then switched to electric lights, and started 2006, LEDS. Its latest spectacle was during the 2012 Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium. An event with about 30 exhibitions, including 3D projection mapping, luminous flower fields, and a glowing phone booth aquarium, Luminarie De Cagna, with its giant Romanesque cathedral of 55,000 LED lights was once again the start of the show.
