Lissy Elle is someone who likes to pretend that she doesn’t care about what other people think of her. Otherwise she admits to have come to a point, like in every other artist’s life, that she craves recognition. She works mostly with self portraiture and her pictures have also this surreal touch that captivated me from Kyle Thompson’s photographs. Like him she’s not older as a teenager and both seem to have an immense imagination to compose little stories in every picture.
The overwhelming support Lissy has received on the net, the offers she got for book or album covers, for magazines or ads keep her wanting to give more of herself. And that’s why she declares: “my images are half for me, and half for you”.
