Helsinki-based, independent designer Linda Linko aims to narrow the gap between illustration, design and art in her completely handmade works.
Starting her own practice in 2010, the artist has a wide spectrum of creative experience. She uses traditional methods of painting, drawing and cutting – and different computer apps in the final stages of the work. Her work varies from elegant black ink paintings to joyful, light and bold collages. Stating that incompleteness is her style of expression, she question “ If everything’s polished to perfection, where’s the space for imagination?”
