In the first comprehensive account of his art since his death, Lichtenstein: A Retrospective at London’s Tate Modern is a true homage to the dynamic work of the pop art pioneer. Spread over thirteen rooms, his earliest and most recent works all comprise a part of the exhibition in an impressive display of the artist’s comic strip inspired career. Rife with vivid colours, ben-day dots and thick black outlines, it’s a real splash of colour against the London city grey.
