Jonathan Saunder’s sophisticated interpretation of 70s sartorial essentials was a clear standout amongst a wave of designer’s looking to the decade for inspiration during London Collections Men presentations. Covetable pieces were furthermore elevated by an impeccably-pitched color palette of ochre, yellow, navy, taupe, camel and icy blues and whites accessorized with sunset ombre shades. Striped knitwear, metallic jacquards and tailoring were layered with sensible weather-proof outerwear choices. Fragmented stone prints and precise grid patterns added to the ever-important print element of the collection that was cleverly shown alongside Saunder’s 2015 resort offering for women.
